Step-by-step

1- spray in heat protection

2- product through hair and rough dry hair Upside down for extra volume until 80% dry

3- Starting at the back, taking small sections from the nape of the neck begin drying hair away from the face -Backwards

TOP TIP Make sure that you have lots of tension with the round brush while blowdrying, this will create a much smoother and bouncier curl

4- Continue the back sections, constantly curling the hair away from you

5- Now the back is finished, move on to the two front sections

TOP TIP When it comes to the front of the head, I like to have the underneath sections of my blow dry curled towards my face, and the top layers curled away from my face, this gives more of a lived in 'messy' look

6- As I blow dry the rest of my hair away from my face, I will be mindful to leave out a section from the very top/front where my fringe is -I would leave this section til last regardless of whether I had a fringe or not

7- the final section, the fringe section, should be brushed forwards and blow dried as one section, ignoring your parting. This will give you optimal volume around the face and really exaggerate any face framing layers you may have!

Extra tips for how you can create curls in your hair using a round brush and hairdryer:

  1. Start with clean, damp hair. Use a heat protectant spray to protect your hair from the heat of the hairdryer.

  2. Section your hair into manageable sections. Take a small section of hair, about 1-2 inches wide, and place it between the bristles of the round brush.

  3. Hold the section of hair taut with one hand and use the other hand to hold the hairdryer about 6 inches away from your head.

  4. Use the hairdryer to dry the section of hair while holding the round brush in place. Keep the hairdryer moving as you dry to avoid overheating one section of hair.

  5. Once the hair is dry, release the hair from the brush and use your fingers to shape the curl.

  6. Repeat this process for each section of hair until your entire head is curled.

  7. Finish off with a light hold hair spray to set the curls in place.

It's important to use low heat and don't keep the dryer in one spot too long so you avoid damaging your hair. And take your time, it's a bit of a process, but the result is worth it!
